Rush Through Time

JULY 23, 2-7 p.m. Old Sacramento

Calling all history geeks, Sacramento lovers, and adventure aficionados! Grab your friends and create a team of up to 6 for an epic history scavenger hunt on Sunday, July 23rd! For two hours, you will rush through the streets of Old Sacramento, downtown, and West Sacramento. Choose to enter either the biking or walking competition and have the opportunity to solve 20 clues leading you back to the early days of the city.

Special locations will offer challenges for bonus points!

Schedule of events:

2:00 – Check-in opens. Grab your clue set and get your team ready for action. Costumes and great team names are encouraged!

2:45 – Listen for the rules and regulations before the kick-off.

3:00 – The Rush begins!

5:00 – All teams must be back at the museum with their clue packets turned in. Enjoy refreshing beverages and share stories from your adventures.

6:00 – Winners are announced and prizes will be distributed!

7:00 – The event ends. Hope to see you next year!

Tickets are $10. Members of the Sacramento History Museum and Friends of Sutter’s Fort can participate for FREE using special promo code RACE1849. (Please note members will be required to show their membership card at check-in.)
