Special Events Information - Weddings

Historic Saint John's Church

Saint John's Church was built in 1856 and is the perfect choice for couples looking for a rustic, intimate setting.

The church is in close proximity to excellent reception locations and is available year round for weddings or other services.

Church reservations are for a 3 hour time slot: 10:00am -1:00pm or 2:00pm -5:00pm. The church is not available for rental on major holidays, or during the second weekend of October or second weekend of December due to special events at the park.

Reserving the church is easy and affordable. If you would like to make an appointment to view and/or reserve Saint John's Church, please contact the Special Events Coordinator at: marshallgold.events@parks.ca.gov or by phone at: (530) 295-2174.

St. John’s Church: $600.00, which includes 25 day use passes for your guests. The church is available for a one hour rehearsal for an additional $100.  The church seats 65 guests. Liability insurance and a $250 refundable cleaning/damage deposit is also required.

Note: The church is an historic building, built in the 1850’s that has no ADA (Americans Disability Act) accessibility. There are no restrooms, heaters or air conditioners located in the churches.
